Who is this for?+
Parents (and incoming UGA freshmen) who are already buying summer essentials online — bedding, dorm decor, mini items — and need a place to send them before UGA residence halls start accepting packages at move-in.
What if my packages don't fit in one box?+
If your packages overflow our standard 24×18×18 box, we'll text you with two options: (1) start a second Drop & Hold box for an additional fee, or (2) upgrade to Ship & Store (from $299) which gives you up to 6 full boxes plus oversized-item capacity. You pick — no surprise charges.
What's the deadline for packages to arrive?+
Inbound packages should arrive at our Athens facility at least 4 days before your delivery date — by August 10 for the main Aug 14 move-in, earlier if your student moves in during Rush week. Anything arriving later may not make the move-in delivery; we'll text you to coordinate.
What if a package is over 30 lbs or oversized?+
Regular inbound packages need to be under 30 lbs and fit inside a standard large box (24×18×18). Bigger pieces — a futon, mini fridge, or similar — are $129 each as a big-item add-on: we receive them (or you drop them off), store them climate-controlled, and deliver them alongside your box on move-in day. Mention it in your booking notes or text us and we'll set it up.
What does the photo confirmation look like?+
Every package gets a quick intake photo sent to you via text or email when it lands — proof of receipt + visible condition. You'll know exactly what arrived and when.
Is there a limit on how many packages I can send?+
There's no fixed count — the only limit is what fits in one large box (24×18×18). Most parents send 4-8 small Amazon orders without filling it. If yours run over, we'll text you to start a second box for an additional fee, or upgrade you to Ship & Store. Always your call.
How does move-in day delivery work?+
We coordinate with UGA Housing's move-in schedule. Your one consolidated box is dropped at your student's residence hall on their move-in day — August 14 for most students, or during Rush week for early move-ins. Just pick the date at booking.
